Security Patrol 

Please know!

Our security patrol coverage is not 24 hours per day, and has an intentionally varied schedule throughout the week. There is no direct security number to summon an officer.

If you are in immediate danger, or see a crime in progress, call 911.

The board wants to know about any crimes or security concerns in our neighborhood, as does lead Officer Thompson. Please email precinct287ca@gmail.com, we usually respond within one business day.

Your safety and security as a resident of this neighborhood are extremely important.

Additional security information:

Precinct 287 Civic Association security patrol began in 1981.

We contract with 4 off duty Houston Police Department Officers to staff our security program. 
 

Vacation and Special Watches are furnished to households that pay security patrol fees.

 

Officer Craig Thompson is our lead security patrolman and has been with the Association more than 25 years.
